Dedicated to Growth, Development & Joy

Every child is unique. Our play-based approach creates individualized therapy plans that meet your child exactly where they are.

Helping children who are over or under-responsive to sensory input develop better regulation and comfort in their daily activities.

Building the hand strength and coordination needed for writing, buttoning, using utensils, and other important daily tasks.

Developing the foundational skills and techniques for legible, efficient handwriting that keeps pace with classroom demands.

Teaching independence in dressing, feeding, grooming, and other essential activities that build confidence and autonomy.

Strengthening the connection between what children see and how they move, crucial for reading, sports, and coordination.

Meet the Therapist

Alexis Jacobs, OTR/L

With over 8 years of experience in pediatric occupational therapy, I founded Little Steps OT with a simple belief: every child deserves the chance to shine.

My journey began when I discovered the transformative power of play-based therapy. Watching children overcome challenges and celebrate their victories—big and small—remains the most rewarding part of my work.

I specialize in sensory processing disorders, developmental delays, and helping children with autism spectrum disorder build the skills they need for everyday success.
